Book Summary Jonathan Harker, a young English solicitor, travels Transylvania in order to help a Transylvanian nobleman Count Dracula, buy an English estate. Jonathan likes Budapest and he notices that he can already tell that the Western world is starting to be left behind and he is “entering the East,” a part of Europe whose customs and peoples will be, most of the times, unfamiliar and Dracula as a whole is a story of the characters quest to purify the world of the evil and uncleanliness that is Count Dracula. The novelty of Dracula is that often these lines can and have to be blurred in order for the characters to succeed.
